We've created this blog to record our trip away in our newly converted self-built motorhome (we've called him Hector).


We're planning to get the ferry from Dover to Calais, but apart from that we're pretty much happy to go with the flow.


We're taking our 2 year old Springer Spaniel; Barney, 6 surfboards, a couple of skateboards, 2 vintage bikes, some European and Morocco maps.


We're pretty self-sufficient in our newly converted van, so apart from the odd electric hook up, we're looking to wild-camp as much as possible.
