It's about 15 miles South of Biarittz and 10 miles up from the Spanish border.. Our nearest big town is Saint Jean De Luz, a painful up and down steep hill ride via the coastal path or a leisurely 8 mile road ride.
So what's new ??
Well managed to surf some really fun waves all to ourselves most days !! Loving my new shiny Odd nose rider (forgotten how much fun heavy nose riders are !!) and Claire's progressing very well surfing over shallow reef with necessary angled take offs !!
We've given young Barney a hair cut as its so hot here we need to keep him as cool as poss, he spends most days on the beach and his ball recovery from the shore dump is exceptional !
We also ride on average 15 miles a day on the old bikes to get to town for supplies and odds and ends we need..The bikes are just about holding together although Claire's basket has dried out and perished in the heat and is now a held together with cable ties.
Anyway we'll probably be here for a few more days at least before heading over into Spain..
